Satisfaction Vs Requirment
From my discussions above, i dont try to conclude that it is a wrong thing to do(like fulfuling requirements or being flexible is wrong.).What I am trying to say is that we have lost direction of life by messing these two words in our life(satisfaction and requirment).PLanning a big goal is alright, but striving for it and sticking towards it till the last moment is even more important.TOday in this cut throat competitive world,we want to have everthing in a very short span of time because your collegues or friends or family members have achieved it.But, then we forget that every one has his own aspirations and dreams and the effort that he pays is rewarded only when he is well balanced by all sides.Who knows that a successful Dhirubhai would have wanted something else, but ultimately ended as a business tycoon. We consider him as successful, but it is not necessary that he would have considered it be his dream too.Success comes through experience. It is the attainment of a certain level after which we really dont require any thing. We are satisfied. For me, success is attainment of long-term satisfaction. This definition differs from person to person and has different perspective too.
Its high time in our career that we get driven by what we want and not by short term gains and objectives.Eye should be fixed on the target and in between it should be hard rock determination to achieve that goal.Yes, we should be flexible too, but not that much as it changes our determination too.We should have back-ups too since any accomplishment of a big target requires so much of devotions and dedications and many setbacks. So, a correct ethical and pragmatic measure will be to have a proper alternative thought and visioned well in advance.Enjoying is important but keeping an eye on the ultimate goal and not dettered by lovely bubbly distractions is even more important.Buddha discovered truth under the 'BODHI-TREE' and for him that was attainment of satisfaction. He was free from the chains of requirments.Likewise, every human should clearly define how he is going to attain that satisfaction .
Purpose of this post is to be a motivating factor to myself and my dear frenz who are in my state of this change. And I think that this change had to come some day in life and we should be very happy to embrace this.Looking forward to everyone's bright future.
Regards,Vivek

I will not defend kasab
11.38 am 21dec 2008
Today morning, I was going through a newspaper and was really intrigued to see an article "why I will not defend kasab?" in court. Kasab is the most valuable prisoner of Indian democracy who hit headlines after Mumbai's 26/11.We are a secular ,sovereign state and we have all the good things that may exist in books written in our constitution. We are the most liberal one, the most modest. We know our enemies but our legal system will take years to punish them. We believe in "AUDI ALTERAM PARTEM"(Let the other side be heard) and this applies equally to everyone , be it a street thief aur Osama. So, Mr.kasab is finding it hard to have a lawyer who can at least stand for him (though in paper only). And that is the sole reason that he is being denied trial. This inhumane person has done a crime that no one can even dream of and still we need a lawyer to take his case (So what, if its in name only, I don’t care!).This is the generosity with which we treat our killers. almost 1 month is going to pass and we haven’t done any real action against Pakistan(the unanimous conspirator of attack). Each one of us know who the culprit is and from where it all has started, we have evidences, we have international support(I think for the first time in history of free India),still we are in our dens. Govt. is just giving it political color and time just flies away. What’s the need of defending a terrorist? We do many things off the record, so, can't we have a dummy lawyer pursue his case? so, that it all gets over soon and we come with a very strong message against those sons of bitches. I stand behind the decision taken by lawyers not to defend that “new face of urban terror”. But , at the same time I want Indian legal system to be honored. so, there should be one to come forward to take this case. Yes! there is some risk involved (as it will give people a chance to act against that lawyer, he won't be able to take this blemish). But there is a way out to this. whosever takes kasab's case, he should take advantage of our democracy. He should have a press conference and make his point clear that he is taking the case just to respect Indian legal system and be provided safety.I appeal to citizens to respect this decision if someone comes forward. This way we shall be able to punish the convict at at the earliest. And believe me that is the need of the hour. The sooner it gets over, the better it is.!

Love, Pain and Happiness
15 DEC. 2008
As i just thought to write this blog, a plethora of thought contrasting my own views ,began to sweep my mind. So, I am pretty messed up and don’t know from where to start it. Love is the most beautiful word in English literature, happiness is something we all strive for(and live for) and pain is the brutal reality of life. Still all three of them are highly inter-related. U can't be happy without being in love and love demands lot of pain and sufferings.
As Benjamin Disreli has quoted "We are all born for love. It is the principle of existence, and its only end."I truly agree with it. U can't imagine a universe without LOVE,we are here just because we love our life and people. Sometimes, negative thoughts have that impact on us that we begin to hate everything around us,everyone seems to be disloyal,we start losing faith on others,GOD and even on ourself. This is the time when a silent pat of someone on shoulders ,tender affection of some beloved and chariness of elder-ones comes in to rescue. These all acts of love help in restoring a man , it makes him stable and gives him the courage to stand and face the world. Love has got many dimensions .It could come from anywhere and from anyone, it is just that feeling of being important to someone. But, we,Humans have restricted it to limited relations .We no longer care for loving mankind. As Mother Teresa points out" if u judge people, u wont have time to love them". We are really so much screwed that we don’t want to believe on someone until he really makes a real impact inside us and leave alone the case of loving him. But, this is a pragmatic approach and i don’t say it wrong either. Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get, it's what you are expected to give -- which is everything.
If you are a true lover, u are bound to face many hurdles because the course of true love never runs smooth. Love and pain are two faces of same coin. The true meaning of love can be felt by someone who has really felt the maximum pain. It has been said that all the great lovers have been losers. It has a great meaning attached to it. Hundreds of them leave everything in their way to achieve what they love and its quite common to see that they haven't been able to acheive that. The value of water is worth the most to one who is thirsty in desert for an entire day. So, pain is an integral part of love. Even nature supports this fact; u can't have a rose without a throne, a lotus without mud. So, if u want to love someone or something, be prepared to pay the price for that.
Now, comes happiness. Everyone in this world wants to be happy and he is persuading his happiness. Happiness to me means the feeling of being recognized and cared. And this feeling can't come if u are not in love.U are happy because ur loved ones are happy. You need to love everything that comes ur way.It gives u positive energy and fills the ambience with aroma of happiness..
Love is the greatest refreshment in life. The heart that loves is always young. So, lets come forward and love everyone in this world.Feel the pain associated with it and then only we can be happy. This is love, pain and happiness according to me.

Finally Its Over......
7:36 PM
For we IT students of penultimate semester, this day will be remembered because today our longest examination sojourn has ended..Normally,our earlier end sems used to be over within 7/8 days, but this time it was extended to 16 long days..Well! taking an examination has never been a bad experience(barring few occasions like M3),infact we consider it as a festival season, but this time i was trully frustrated with the way examinations proceeded...Ofcourse! I enjoyed a lot with three long PLs in between, but, each time I had to start from the beginning .I had to recollect the courage to go through that deadly xerox, books and notes(if any)and make myself mentally ready to have atleast a C in each paper. The momentum was seen nowhere, neither paper nor pen was ready to respond .But, thanks to my friends and above all jainendra(gandhi), my saviour,I was atleast in a position to reach the doors each scheduled day.The situation was that I had my mind frequently asking me that whether I shud take this exam?..It has been an immense feeling today when finally BIO_INFO. paper was over.Atleast, now I neednot visit that room no 219 which I had started to hate the most. This new examination controller seems to be totally out of his mind,as he has completely failed to schedule the subjects in proper dates..Nyways,Its over now 4 me atleast, but ya my CSE friends have to face one more obstacle.infact, they will be taking OT paper for the 4th time in the same semester tommorow.Lets see what is in store for us in the last sem.Don't be surprised to see a month duration exam in may..well! that will be one more reason to spend some extraordinary days in this paradise..
